It is with Great Sadness that I have been informed of the Death of Peter Harding, a much admired member of 249 Squadron. Peter served with the Squadron Under Squadron Leaders Barfoot, Ewan and Sutton from 1961 until 1964. Our Sympathy and Condolences go out to his wife Morwenna and family,

28th February-1st March. Weekend reunion at the Bosworth Hall Hotel, Market Bosworth.
This year there will be 31 joining the reunion on Friday and 42 for the Dinner on Saturday Evening. Meet in the Cocktail lounge for Drinks at 19.00hrs with Dinner at 19.30hrs.
Grace will be said before Dinner by Pope Perce the 1st!

This is a 14 min video about an American war time Air Force Pilot, who flew a Spitfire, on reconnaissance, over Germany. He had to crash land on his return from one flight – and it was caught on camera! He had never seen it before! A very moving story.
